Consultants
Laura Hughes Poppink, M.A.

My work is very supportive, strength-based, and solution-focused. Sessions utilize the empowering process of identifying individual and familial organizing patterns in order to help clients create more awareness, balance, choice, flexibility, and joy in their lives. I honor the strategic wisdom underneath client’s coping strategies while supporting them in developing healthier and more sustainable ways of meeting their needs.

My interventions account for the biological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual influences interwoven into each presenting issue. Clients develop emotional regulation tools, increase distress tolerance, and learn to tap into the power and wisdom of the mind/body connection through somatic practices. My work is designed to help clients connect with internal and external resources so they can not only cope more effectively but also discover more aliveness, inspiration and pleasure. Thrive not just survive!
