Sharon is a leadership coach and organizational development specialist who helps executives create and sustain vibrant and satisfying professional lives in the context of corporate success. She has more than 25 years of senior-level management experience in companies of all sizes, and has both worked in and consulted to a broad range of industries at the corporate, national, and international level.
Earlier in her career, Sharon has demonstrated her expertise in building business functions that position companies for growth. She supported and helped grow the financial organization at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and was VP of Human Resources for Thomson Financial - the global financial publishing giant - where she designed the company's HR and Training & Development functions. Before Thomson, she served in both staff and line functions in a number of retail, healthcare, and high-tech companies. Sharon has served on a number of boards in both the for profit and not for profit communities.
A long-time student of the leadership process, Sharon has participated in many specialized programs, including those at the Center for Creative Leadership, the University of Michigan, and Columbia University. She is certified as a Professional Coach by the International Coach Federation, and has completed Professional Mastery, an intensive, two-year leadership coaching program with Dr. Richard Strozzi-Heckler at the Strozzi Institute. She is also a certified Focus Group director.
